Not legitimate stock tips /how to reportMany people ask me what this term means ¨not legitimate stock¨

and always ask me how I know? how to identify?. so I decide to post a journal with many tip,

first...the things written here in this journal, I did a long search. and I'm doing this to help and inform people about this subject.
and first I'll tell because I started getting interested in this subject. three things happened that made me pay attention in this detail.
1 - a long time ago, I used the stock from pixabay in some premades. and unfortunately I did not know that this site is not reliable, so I was denounced and I had all my contents posted in stock removed.
2 - I used a premade, but the person who did this premade used a stock that was not allowed to be used, and this premade was denounced and people who used also have been denounced and had my manipulation was moved to scrap for infringed copyright.

Don't forget this important step in crediting your stock providers!

Important: Have you Notified your Stock Providers?Hi all,
I just wanted to take a quick moment out from registering people for the Photomanipulation Tournament to bring to your attention an issue that is plaguing our community.
I think a lot of people think that, with the new Mentions system, there is no need to notify stock providers when you use their work. This is untrue! There are a few of reasons why you still need to notify them via note or comment, as per their preference, when you use their stock:
1. Some people turn their Mentions off because they get to be annoying. Thus, if you don't tell them, they may never see your gorgeous work.
2. Stock providers like to keep track of your work, and notes/comments help with that.
3. If your stock provider doesn't see your work, he/she can't give you love!
4. It is almost always in a stock provider's Terms of Use to NOTIFY OF USE. If you cannot follow the TOU (including notifying them via note or comment), please don't use the stock.

Did you know that you can actually help protect your art from theft by crediting and notifying your stock providers?

Art Theft: Another reason to Credit and NotifyDid you know that you can actually help protect your art from theft by crediting and notifying your stock providers? The number one most common rule to stock use is to require the artist to both credit the stock and notify the stock provider of use.  As a stock provider, I can't stress the importance of this rule enough.
I recently ran across a photo on facebook that was being passed around by a political group page ironically called; "Restoring America." This image contains stock used by :devart:'s dazzle-stock. There is no artist attribution or credit. It simply looks like another case of lifting an image from google.
When I saw the image, I went to dazzle-stock's stock image and sifted through the stock use notifications to see if I could find the owner of the original artwork. I went through every single link and gallery with no luck. I also searched :devart:'s main galleries to see if the artist credited, but did not notify. No luck there either. I realize that

You may think that the creation and sharing of stock and resources is a no brainer.  Clearly however its not, and there are a growing number of deviants who for some reason or another seem to not be able to grasp the basic principles.
As the last article we will be launching for Stock & Resources Project Educate week, we are going to attempt to lay it out for you in clear and easy to understand terms.
